Serwis Forest of Illusion opublikował kopię prototypu gry Dinosaur Planet odnalezioną na płycie CD, która została odkupiona od kolekcjonera ze Szwecji.
Wersja gry zapisana na płycie oznaczona jest datą 1.12.2000 r. i według zapewnień Forest of Illusion, pomimo drobnych błędów, da się w nią grać na emulatorze konsoli.
W komercyjnym wydaniu Dinosaur Planet ujrzało światło dzienne w innej postaci, jako gra dla GameCube’a zatytułowana Star Fox Adventure.
